Tavon Austin has a wider vision on the field

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Tavon Austin has his sights set on higher expectations, and a wider scope of how to help this team accumulate more victories this season.
On day one of Training Camp on the campus of UC Irvine, Austin had a guard on his surgically-repaired left wrist. Though cautious of his wrist, Austin was ready to lay the smack down on the field during reps.
“I really haven’t been in this offense for so long; probably my fourth time getting out there with the guys,” Austin told reporters. “However he [Sean McVay] needs me to be. Deep threat, short guy, it doesn’t make a difference to me.”
Although he keeps a guarded eye on his wrist, Austin still maintains focus on being the best wide receiver on the field for quarterback Jared Goff and Sean Mannion as they take their reps in practices.

Several weeks before the 2016 season, Austin signed a four year, $42 million deal, with still quite a bit to prove. Even as a veteran on the field, in his mind he’s coming into camp with a rookie mindset for rookie head coach McVay and the staff.
Now lined up along side fellow wide receiver Robert Woods, Austin hopes the two can become a dynamic duo of sorts, a Batman to Robin, or a Snoop to Dr. Dre if you will.
The two can be a serious vertical threat this season if both can remain healthy. In tough division that has not been won by the Rams in several years, everyone including Austin are ready to prove a lot of naysayers wrong this season.
The Rams expect Austin to be a large part of their offensive schemes, as the coaching staff can create different ways on effectively using the versatile wide out. Cooper Kupp could also see some time on the field if the Rams elect to go 3 wide more this season
